Marcoola Beach is ideally located midway on the Sunshine Coast and treasured by locals for its excellent uncrowded broad beaches and tranquil environs.
Take some days to explore the different beaches that the Sunshine Coast has to offer. Drive to Noosa and explore the boutiques in Hastings Street, a stone's throw from Noosa Beach. Swim at the many beaches in the area, all enjoying the wonderful Sunshine Coast weather, which is warm-to-hot every day in summer.
For families or larger groups, try either Salerno on the Beach with its fully self- contained two and three bedroom air-conditioned apartments or the Marcoola Beachside. The latter is pet and child friendly, with toddlers; pool, spa and heated swimming pool. Marcoola certainly has a good choice of Sunshine Coast accommodation for its small size.
Where to stay
All Marcoola accommodation is directly on the beach. Try the Mantra Sand Dunes with its easy beach access and golf at the championship course at Twin Waters. The Surfair Marcoola is a great world-class hotel directly on Marcoola Beach. Enjoy its pool, spa and gym.
